Our Grumble of pubs has grown!
What started as a great local has turned into a handful of them.
The Fat Pug opened in 2012, serving the residents around the Rugby Road and Guys Cliffe Road intersection, the plan was to establish it as a modern but proper pub.
Ok, more importantly we also wanted somewhere our Pug – Henrietta – could make some friends and be an open door to dog-owners, and for them to stay warm in the winter!
What the heck is a Grumble?
Now, we’ve opened – we can’t believe we’re saying this – the FIFTH pub in our little Grumble of Pug pubs.
A Grumble is a term coined just for pugs – a little group of them. Just like us!
The real ones give out a little grumble when they are happy – hence the name.
If you’re in or visiting Leamington Spa, Warwick, and the surrounding Warwickshire area, we hope you’ll pop in as you’ll find a pub with the same warm pug-like welcome.
