No nonsense, with pug personality

When The Fat Pug opened, we promised everyone locally they’d get uncomplicated, but great pub grub. We haven’t wavered from that.

The classics are there - with a pug seal of approval, of course. But we focus on what's in season, what our regulars enjoy, and give our chefs a little licence to be bold.

So, if you’re still seeking the perfect Sunday Roast, need those 2-for-1 pizzas on a Monday, or feel the urge for a modern chicken-in-a-basket, we’ll see you down at The Fat Pug.

To say that Fizz Friday is our most popular night of the week makes us sound a little like a wine bar, but no…we are definitely a pub!

As a freehouse, we get to choose what we serve (and cater to what pub-goers want to drink, of course!), and so we do.

Locally-produced ales sit alongside storied gins, tried and tested Chilean wine, and favourites we’d be mad not to have on tap.

We’re always adding something interesting or requested, so pop by on your way home from work, en route to a night out, or just have a night in with us.

Don't fancy cooking? We have you covered!

Craving your favorite Fat Pug pizza? You can now order our handcrafted, stone-baked pizzas online for quick and easy click & collect. Cooked fresh in our kitchen and served piping hot, your order will be ready exactly when you want it. We also have sides! – view our menu for all options.

Monday – Saturday 12pm – 9pm

Sunday 12pm – 7pm

Don’t forget to add a cold craft beer, bottle of wine, fizz or a refreshing soft drink from our bar to complete your order!

We hold birthday bashes, intimate dinner parties and business meetings in our upstairs events space.

Part of why we are so popular for private events is that the Warwickshire community has been using our bespoke food and drinks offerings for their events for many years now. Word spread fast.

You make our pubs better

The Fat Pug - in fact, all of our pubs - are independent freehouses. That means we can serve whatever we want to serve, and what you want to drink!

Our dedicated researchers (that’s a great gig by the way!) have curated a terrific back bar and wine & beers lineup, but you’re the ones who drink it all!

If you know a great local beer, have a grape variety you love, or spotted a crafty little gin somewhere you think we should try, then don’t gatekeep it!
